Day 2 of X

I will go to
Yoga class
even if
It kills me.
Day one
did not.
Day two.
Coo coo
Ca cho.
No hope.
No Kibble.
No clients.
No Money.
No Mistake.
No Photos.
No jokes.
No love to loose.
All is lost.
It is universal.
No Mistake.
Breathe. in.
Hold (that is new)
Breathe out.
Skipping
the middle,
makes me short
of Breath.
Short People
Have
No Reason
to Live.
No Mistake.
Bones get
Older
I do too
My dad
Rots faster
than I do.
The pain
is there

And
gets stronger
every day
Dont
forget
to
Floss.

A Slow Start

Eight days into 2010,  five classes under my belt.
A slow good start.  Recession is making forstronger families
Everyone is now is at home playing with the kids.
I am tired.  Bikram Yoga tip of the day: stretch your palms and feet always. The rest may catch up if you have the time.

Legs fail me

Yoga Train rides again

Yoga monday 6:00 am.
Great to be back in an early morning class.
Not too crowded. Happy to be back with the home team.
Studio had a five year annivesary while I was away.

Newly named classmate: hurry up girl.
She does not lower her hands to her side,
instead rests her hands on her hips.
I expect toe tapping to follow.
Mind instantly reads the body
language as "hurry up".
reminder to focus on my own form.

My mind instantly goes off somewhere
at the slightest prompt.
That is why I am here.

Bikram Yoga tip of the day: Standing forehead to knee pose. The most important thing is to lock your rear leg. To get a firm grip under the balls of you feet  you must to bow your standing leg backwards.

Motorless City

I am back from my whirlwind trip to redwood city and motor city.
Two weeks of vacation wipes out 100 days of Yoga.

Took three Bikram classes in Farmington Hills, MI, and attempted teach my friends some beginning yoga -two classes and-only one injured student.
The women instructors in Farmington Hills kept leaving the classroom.
One women kept giving out stuff to think about to keep your mind occupied.
(!)
The guy was great, I loved the way he said change.
Chaaaaaaaange with a lowering tone. Almost spooky.
Rubber floor. Lots ofbby older folks so I felt at home.
Glad to be back to home studio , plus while I was away I received gift vertificates to two other yoga Studios. I can really yoga up.
BIKRAM Yoga Tip of the day: Tulandasana Balancing stick pose. Align your hips and keep your arms stetched up as tightly as you alongside your head before you hinge at the hip. Do not droop like an umbrella, ( got that instuction from motor city) pull your leg out of your hip socket and your arms out of your shoulder sockets with all your might.
